Why would an anarchist like you create a federation? Isn't this contradictory to everything you stand for? You said all structure should be torn down, you said people should live without rules, you said all authority was invasive!

You have to understand, I realized that I was in error when I removed Edwards. I was too optimistic. And I hate optimists.
The division doesn't exist between "Optimists" and "Pessimists;" it's "Optimists" and "Realists."
You see, I had the crazy idea that introducing anarchy would produce strength in the roster. That's why I love the State of Nature. It makes life nasty, brutish, and short-for the weak. It's evolution! The structure keeps the weak alive, anarchy will not permit the weak to live.

Unfortunately, I underestimated the sickly power of the weak. How deeply it permeated the WoF roster. You couldn't remove the weak chunks without killing the whole.
The weakness spread like a cancer, and the operation was fatal.
