A former rock star, often criticized for his "Devil Music" (though he says that he himself is not into that sort of music), he was infamous for his anger problems, which eventually led to him assaulting the lead singer of his opening act when the singer criticized him. His band decided that they couldn't keep him around, so they threw him out of the group. Johnson kept his mean streak and decided to enter a world where his ego and his rage would be welcome: Professional Wrestling. Now dubbing himself "the Devil" (sticking it to the critics of his music) he wrestles and searches for both opponents and victims. He is known for being very charismatic (a skill he had to develop back in his rockstar days), knowing how to put on a show and knowing how to say all the right things. After the masses turned on him after the assault, Daniel Johnson learned not to care what the crowd thinks of him and will do anything to win.
After Johnson had made a name for himself, Marcus Raidon contacted him to be a part of
Wrestling of the Future
, where he debuted with Missy Rain as his valet. Both of them were quite successful in WoF, with Missy becoming a Young-Star Champion and Daniel Johnson becoming a TV Champion and the last WoF International Champion.
Daniel Johnson reluctantly made an appearance at the first Wednesday Night Innovation after the closing of WoF and the opening of Hybrid Pro Wrestling. Johnson was unimpressed and planned to find a new, more popular fed, but was quickly drawn into a Champion vs. Champion feud with Young-Star Champion The Highlander. Johnson eventually made history by defeating Perfect Champion Nightwing and Young-Star Champion Highlander, uniting their titles with his International Championship.
For now, Hybrid Pro Wrestling is Daniel Johnson's stage, but everyone wants to prove that they're on par with the Rockstar!
