“I will always act in the way I believe is right, regardless of the effects on myself. I'm a leader, and those that follow me must have the same qualities: respect, honour and loyalty.”

The General is, without question, one of the most beloved competitors ever to step into a ring. He is known for his military background (he incorporates military imagery into his persona), his patriotism, his strong will to order, and his genuine desire to fight underhanded, dishonest competitors while cultivating honest, sportsmanlike competition. Ultimately The General is more concerned about seeing the fed as a whole succeed rather than himself as an individual (which is not to say he doesn't have personal ambition).

The General contacted Marcus Raidon personally, requesting a contract so that he could create a team (which became The Chosen Ones) and go after Shane Brady's Royal Alliance. The General and the Chosen Ones tore the Royal Alliance apart before being promptly disbanded to ensure that they did not become corrupt (a move that is believed to have been inspired by Aaron Eckhart's Harvey Dent character from The Dark Knight).

Despite disbanding The Chosen Ones, The General would still team up with Armor King under same name and would even go on to win Tag Team Gold for a short time. The General really shined, however, when he stood alongside Marcus Raidon against The Young Punks and alongside Mr. Edwards and American Tragedy against The Anarchists. It was during this time that The General cemented his reputation as an incorruptible bastion of integrity.

However, The General's career was still going strong just as WoF closed it's doors. The General traveled around, but he knew that WoF was his home, so he jumped at the opportunity to join Jack Corben's Hybrid Pro Wrestling (despite being the man who put Corben in the hospital shortly before WoF's demise) and quickly did all he could to help the General Manager in the early days. This, however, has led to rumors of The General abandoning his integrity for the GM's favor.
